Felix Young: Unsure What’s Standing in the Way of Your Success? It could be YOU

It’s easy to play the blame game when things don’t go a certain way, however, Felix Young is eager to address that people need to take responsibility, and realize that they themselves may be the principal barrier on the road to success.

It could be argued that it’s almost a naturalistic instinct to shift blame elsewhere when something goes wrong, doesn’t work out or just isn’t going the way in which someone had hoped for. If someone isn’t succeeding, the majority of the time they will find any way to rationalize that it was not their fault but in actual fact, if it really is them Felix Young says they need to take a long hard look in the mirror and make necessary changes.

People often think that in order to make a change they need to change their surroundings, people around them and so forth. But taking such measures will not automatically bring them such success or happiness. It’s the classic notion of blaming everything on what’s going on around them but themselves.

Entrepreneurial mentor and coach, Mike Iamele writes that setting yourself free mentally and physically will bring a person success. He goes on to say there is a condition that everyone lives in which they cannot break free from – a mindset of entrapment. The fear of freedom and the unknown is what separates the successful from the rest. In order to change circumstances, Felix Young shares how people need to change their lives from the inside out, setting themselves free of stress. Taking the giant step into the unknown is what holds many people back from accomplishing their own goals, being stuck at a job, which is in no way beneficial or enjoyable, is never going to solve any problems. But the prospect of actually leaving and perhaps being stuck afterwards is the thought that keeps people at bay.

Felix Young are working with young professionals to help them realize and recognize their goals and dreams. “Once they understand that anything is possible after taking responsibility and accepting that the unknown is littered with opportunity they are bound to succeed,” said a spokesperson for Felix Young.

To quote the great Mike Iamele, “It’s not about the money. It’s never about the money. It’s about rationalizing our fear of freedom. It’s about not allowing ourselves luxuries because we don’t think we deserve them.”

Life might not be as simple as taking rewarding yourself luxuries to solve an existential life crisis, but Iamele has the right idea – relax and take it easy, allowing the mind to open up to new opportunities.

Felix Young has just opened their new flagship location in the heart of Melbourne, one of Australia’s most vibrant and forward-thinking cities. The plan for the next 12 months is to extend their event marketing services across the country – opening up new markets to clients’ brands and sharing the benefits of engaging, in-person marketing.
